2009 Flu Clinic Schedule

Four Flu Clinics at various locations have been scheduled in Westport and Weston during September and October. The clinics are open to anyone 18 years of age or older wishing to be vaccinated. There are no residency restrictions and no appointments necessary. Check dates and locations>>

Travel Clinic Hours

The Westport Weston Health District Travel Clinic will be held on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and one evening a month, by appointment. Proper pre-travel counseling and immunizations can help prevent travel related illnesses and ensure a safe and healthy travel experience. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 227-9571 ext. 243, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Wellness Clinic for Adults and Children—Mondays, from 9 a.m.– 10:30 a.m. (walk-in clinic)

This walk-in clinic offers free blood pressure screening, monitoring, and counseling. Blood sugar, hemoglobin and TB testing are available for a minimal charge. No immunizations will be given during this clinic. (Walk-in clinic)

Cholesterol screening Clinic for adults—fourth Tuesday of every month, mornings, appointment required

This clinic requires an appointment. Screening includes total, LDL and HDL cholesterol levels, blood sugar and triglyceride levels. Fasting is required. The cost for the screening is $25. Cash, check or MasterCard/Visa is accepted. For an appointment, call Monica Wheeler, RN, at the Health District at 227-9571, ext. 242.

Immunization Clinic—By Appointment Only

Routine immunizations and boosters are available for adults and children. Call Loren Pace, RN, at the Health District, at 227-9571, ext. 231, to schedule an appointment. Fees payable by cash, personal check or Mastercard/Visa.

HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing Clinic

By Appointment at the Westport Weston Health District

Open to all regardless of age or residence. Anonymous or confidential testing available. This clinic is free, but a $10 donation is suggested. Call Loren Pace, RN at 227-9571 ext 231, to schedule an appointment
